JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a friendly and organized Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for visitors and clients, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support. Duties include answering phones, managing inquiries, and maintaining a tidy reception area.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Respond to incoming calls in a timely, efficient, courteous manner; directs call to appropriate party.
  • Proactively communicate messages to the intended recipient as quickly as possible.
  • Communicate with staff and visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Perform and complete check-in process of clients and visitors.
  • Embrace being the face of the organization for both in person and verbal interaction/contact.
  • Ensures that each eligible client receives transportation reimbursement.
  • Replenishes Metro cards and update distribution documents, reception forms, etc.
  • Provide client with pre-printed appointment verification letter as requested.
  • Notifies Intake Coordinator of intake cancellations and/or gives notification of insurance ineligibility.
  • Direct calls to Clinic Supervisors as needed.
  • Familiarize self with up-to-date reception and screening protocols for building entry.
  • Participates in and completes required agency training.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: High School Diploma
  • Key Skills: Must be familiar with Microsoft Office (excel, word, etc.)
  • Language – bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus.
