JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated Main Clinic Clinician to join our team. The Main Clinic Clinician will be responsible for providing direct patient care, conducting assessments, diagnosing conditions, and developing treatment plans. This role involves collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients. The Main Clinic Clinician will also oversee clinic operations, supervise staff, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide individual play therapy, family therapy, and group therapy to clients aged 6-18 and their caregivers both in person and via teletherapy.
  • Provide case management and/or crisis intervention.
  • Complete ongoing documentation in electronic record, including treatment plan, progress notes, and assessments.
  • Working evenings to accommodate after school appointments is required.
  • Staff are currently on site at least 1-2 days per week, based on needs of clients.

Opportunities

The Main Clinic Program believes strongly in connecting clinicians to opportunities for clinical growth. ECMH clinicians may have the opportunity to train in the following modalities as training cohorts are available:

  • Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT)
  • Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT)

Qualifications and credentials:

  • LMSW/LCSW or Ph.D./Psy.D.
  • Current NYS clinical license
